This memorial state park is situated in the South Carolina countryside and offers both history and nature for visitors to enjoy. The park marks the birthplace of the 7th President of the United States and includes a museum and other historical sights. A fishing lake and rustic woods provide an opportunity for enjoying nature. The state park campground includes sites that can accommodate tents and RVs. Sites are equipped with water hookups, electric hookups, fire pits, and picnic tables. There are also a handful of sites with sewer hookups. Additional campground amenities include restrooms, showers, grills, fishing dock, trails, playground and more. Sites are $18-$22 per night and can be reserved online up until a day before arrival.
